Mr & Mrs Aditya Dhar visits Baglamukhi Mata Mandir
Aug 26, 2022The Supertech Twin Towers in Sector 93A, Noida, will be destroyed on Sunday, and the demolition expert responsible for the operation, Chetan Dutta, claimed on Thursday that the process will be "easy."
He remarked, "It's a straightforward process; we create electricity from the dynamo and then hit the button which will ignite the detonators in all shock tubes within 9 seconds," when explaining the specifics of the procedure that will bring down the twin towers.
The blasting area is covered with four layers of iron mesh and two layers of blanket, so no rubble will fly, and we will be approximately 50 to 70 meters away from the structure. There will be no danger, and we are confident that the building will collapse properly," he added.
The demolition will take place at 2:30 PM on Sunday.
At 2.30 p.m. on Sunday, Supertech's unlawful twin towers, which are taller than Qutub Minar, will be torn down in 9 seconds, making them the highest structures ever to fall in India. Vibration can be decreased by using impact cushions.
There would be about 35,000 cubic meters of rubble left over after the destruction of the 32-story Apex and the 29-story Ceyane, which would require at least three months to clean up.
The twin towers can now be destroyed with explosives, according to the Supreme Court. The demolition was scheduled to begin on August 21, but the court granted the Noida Authority's appeal to delay it until August 28.
The twin towers will be demolished because of serious violations of building codes. The Noida Authority and Supertech had engaged in "nefarious cooperation," according to the Supreme Court, which ordered that the business demolish the building at its own expense under the guidance of the Noida Authority and an expert organization like the Central Building Research Institute.
The decision was made in response to a number of petitions submitted by homebuyers in support of and opposition to the Allahabad High Court's ruling of April 11, 2014, which ordered the demolition of the two buildings within four months and the reimbursement of apartment purchasers' money.
The Supreme Court has stated that August 28 may be confirmed as the day of demolition, with a "bandwidth of seven days" between August 29 to September 4, to take into account any marginal delay on account of technical reasons or weather conditions.
