In a recent interview, Alia Bhatt discussed the idea of live-in relationships and the reasons for her decision to move in with Ranbir Kapoor before being married. The actress described live-in relationships as "wonderful" in an interview with Filmfare, adding that individuals "feel comfy" and "create so many memories without the strain" in them. The Darlings actress said, "We moved in together because we were truly going to get married." "So why not, if you can? I believe it's fantastic. Without the stress of having to "shaadi karni hai" (get married), you become acclimated to one other, feel at ease, and create a ton of memories. Regarding Ranbir Kapoor and herself, she stated, "We had planned to move in together because we were going to be married, but when the pandemic struck, we had to resume our plans.
