He made a report and, according to police, a case of kidnapping under section 363 of the Indian Penal Code was lodged after combing the neighborhood for her in vain.
The body of the missing girl, who had suffered stab wounds, was discovered on August 18 in the Yamuna Khadar neighborhood.

The local CCTV cameras were all checked, but nothing was discovered. She said that 200 residents of the Yamuna Khadar area and its surrounding areas were questioned in order to gather information about the offender.
According to a top-secret report, Rizwan alias Badshah, a butcher by trade, used to routinely visit the jhuggi and made friends with the victim by giving him toffees and other treats.
